Process or People?

Are you focusing on the source of your problems? Or your people? Ninety percent of the time the problems in the process. 

Deming wrote about this decades ago in Out of the Crisis.  One of his key principles: 

  • Improve constantly and forever the system of production and service, to improve quality and productivity, and thus constantly decrease costs. 

The data tells you where your process opportunities lie. Are you using that data?
